CTSC is a consortium of professional, technical, scientific, engineering and educational societies in Northeastern Ohio.
Objectives
- Coordinate efforts – Share information – Promote programs
- Sponsor educational endeavors – Present scholarships
- Recognize outstanding professionals – Reward leadership and achievement
Organization
- One representative from each member society comprises the Board of Governors.
- Bylaws define the rules and regulations of the Council.
- Each member society has one vote.
- The Board appoints a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
- An Executive Director oversees the day to day tasks, makes and receives recommendations from the board and serves as the Councils contact.
- A Procedures Manual lists committee appointees and actions.
- Meetings are held monthly, August through June.
Our Misson
The purpose of the Council is to bring together members of the professional scientific, engineering, technical, and educational societies in the northeastern Ohio area:

to provide a forum to discuss and act on matters of mutual concern

to provide web site support to member societies as needed

to serve as a contact between the business community and the technical and educational communities

to promote collaborative activities among societies

to encourage careers in the technical & educational professions

to coordinate programs to support mathematics, science and engineering education

to recognize individuals in the scientific, engineering, technical and educational communities

to match the skills and interests of the volunteers to the tasks that advance the goals of the member societies, and

to develop programs to sustain the diversity of its people and the needs of our region
